House of Wax Production Used Vincent Sinclair mask

I don't think I've ever been able to post in this forum, but now was as good a time as any.
This is my Production used Vincent mask from 2005's House of Wax remake. The flick was shot about 40 mins away from where I live here in Queensland, Australia, and i was lucky enough to be gifted this mask from a member of the Make Up department. Well, it’s been more than a while, but I’ve actually got a little update on this guy. After having him for several years, it felt pretty disrespectful displaying it on just a styrofoam head.

I spent about half an hour and modeled a simple stand base in 3d builder, with some small connectors and end pieces, and a frame to hold the plaque I made. About 3 hours of print time later and some 2.5mm alloy rod, and i had a dedicated stand for this production made piece. It’s a very thin and light vacuum formed piece, so the lightweight stand is more than enough to support it.

This will now live out its days in a way befitting of its production history.
