I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure this will be the same units as the others, which were also "limited" :)

what is this ****** "limited" business?...

all the time i hear that and it's thrown around like:

limited special edition run of 2,000.... or 5,000 pieces worldwide, that's not limited.. that's ALLOT!!!!!! :)

limited to me means like 5 or 10.

working in the marketing industry i can tell you it's really just a tag that is added to any item to make it highly desirable to the consumer..

try not to fall for the hype when it comes to these pieces..

thought as much - pre-ordered it anyway

i absolutely love 'grey back'predator and have always wanted a decent figure/model of him so i dont mind paying alittle over the odds to KNOW that im getting one!

(oh an ill be ordering another when i can afford it :) )

I have a few issues with this whole "limited run" ********. First off, when I think of "limited run" I think of only a few thousand units. That's not a lot considering the collectability factor of a figure like that alone is astronomic. I think they should just ******* put them into production, and piss off with this "limited" ********. No one cares about the limited availability, they just want the ******* figure!!!!! The whole "limited" thing is just a kick in the nuts because that's like saying "Hey, here's this new cool thing you want, and we're not gonna make it for long, so you might not get a chance to own one, but you can try!!" Hey, **** you. If some one wants one, has the money, then what's the problem? What's this first come first serve, holier than thou ********. If I want something bad enough, I will pay for one, and I'm pretty sure I won't pay no mind to the fact that a lot of other people have one.

And another thing- what's up with people wanting to buy two? One's not good enough? Or is it all about keeping one packaged to re-sell later on? I can't possibly think of another reason that you'd need two, while someone else who really wanted one and had to resort to Egay and spend 3 times what it's worth.

Maybe it's just me, but the whole "collecting" community needs a ******* beat-down. Selfish *****.

Rob, you crack me up! :)
I hear ya on this stuff. I always thought that to make a collectible truly limited (and therefore worth more) that it would no longer be produced. Hence the phrase "broke the mold". If the molds aren't intentionally destroyed, then the gd collectible ain't exactly limited. It can always be pulled from the shelf and reused to re-issue the item in question. Big shovelfuls of steaming ********.

i understand what you mean about buying 2 rob

i want two because i want 1 made up on display and 1 kept away in good condition in a safe cupboard.(i know that might sound selfish but its the only one want two of as its my favorite predator!)

cant wait to get him!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I have seriously never seen ROB post such a seriously angry post before!

Whats up buddy you need to vent some steam bout somethin? Talk to your main homeslice...

Actually, I *think* every HT aside from the Con edition for HK is limited to 2000 units each. So I guess it qualifies as limited lol!

As for buying two or more, that's called toy scalping :) Ppl do it to try and corner the market then go nuts with secondary market prices like on eBay and such. It's a toy collector's worst nightmare.

Nah, I'm not upset. I just get sick of seeing "Limited Edition" stamped on everything. That, and the scalpers on eBay who mark up toys like that to double what they payed. Ridiculous! It irritates the **** out of me.

:)
