Hi guys,

so I know, ANOTHER Spiderman, but look , you're gonna have a bunch of 2nd run guys suddenly showing up with their build photos and plans... anyway, I got to work right away wth puff paint. Truth be told, I know there is alot of controversy regarding the whole run that Taylor had in the junkyard, but all that aside, the print is gorgeous, i mean, really nice. if you didnt want to apply puff, you dont have to in my opinion.

But, I'll show you a nice up close and personal shot of the difference, I've taken my time, its tedious obviously, but the reward is pretty great.

So, I've got for your comparison shots, of the back spider, one done in puff, the other plane still, and then a Hand, half done, you can see the up close difference in the puff, and the print.

Looking forward to showing my progress guys, Thanks!

Looks great man. I'm very excited to get mine (First runner here waiting on my suit to get here still...) and am glad that the suit looks as great as it does. Have you found a seamstress yet?

I'm interested in seeing the workaround for the "weird seams" and things that our suits apparently suffer from.

Looking good! Can't wait to get mine and start it!
Are you just using the Puff Paint bottle or an applicator on it?

I'm using the applicator tips i got from Joanne fabrics. or Michaels, im not sure which it was now, but, it just flows too freely out of the regular tip, you will absolutely make a mistake that way.

Also, I use smaller bottles, the Puff paint bottle's while are able to be handled, are a little bigger, the only issue is, with the smaller bottle, you have to make sure you're not getting big air bubbles

Looking good man, but I found using the stock bottle fine. It all depends on how hard you squeeze. Looking forward to see more of your progress.

Nice!
You wernt kidding on the flood of 2nd Runner Build threads haha.
Are you stretching your lycra before applying the Puffy?
Did you find a seamstress yet?

I'm stretching it, but not a ton really, i mean, I'm not sure if the paint is going to crack or not, honestly, i just need it to make it through one wearing, and then display. I'm not sized properly for Spiderman Cosplay haha... I'm still looking for a seamstress

Is it that the majority of seamstress' are refusing to do the work?

Most of them think it is too much trouble. And they don't want to take the chance that they might screw up the print, so a lot of them won't do it even if you offer to pay more. You need to trace the seam from the back of the print and put a dots at the web line that you are going to sew up, so you can have them line up better. But they just wouldn't do it. That is why I am taking classes, and try to do it myself lol.
