Honeywell Strobe

I have a couple Honeywell strobes. What parts are used off of these?
I read someone mention these but not what they were for?

Thanks

As I understand, it was for a Vader saber of sorts... The Duracell maybe?

Slave.jpgslave2.jpg it was this thing. A Heiland strobe and a Graflex slave, it was actually just brought up a week or two ago in another thread. I think it was used in an Energizer bunny commercial.

Energizer... Duracell....

Potato... tomato.

I do want one, but I can wait until the ridiculous "Vintage Flash! make a lightsaber! $100!!" auctions die down.

looking at the "completed auctions", it shouldn't be long. I mean yes, Graflex's are still selling hot, but come on, camera guys, 100 bucks for a graflite?

Of course it's not going to sell.

hear hear! :cheers Projects like these will be so much fun once things settle down. Honestly an ugly stunt prop like this, while it has value, I can't feel good investing $ like it was a well built Hero prop.

Don´t know .... since some time my interest is more and more towards the unusual versions.

Sorry guys, if i don´t show really interest in your big money hero graflexes anymore, but after some time in the hobby, and owning some of them myself, it gets more and more boring. Everyone does those.

Hell, i´m even pissed when i read of planned runs for Vaders ROTS stunt parts (or something that way for other former hard to get stuff) - i love mine, but as with the Han blasters i know i will loose interest when next to everyone owns one. :rolleyes

But doesn't having something made from an original prop base like a real c96 or a great conditioned Graflex that you scored somewhere make it better? Knowing that what you having is legitimate, and that there's no replica that can touch it?

I don't know, the hunt for real parts is part of the thrill sometimes. So even if everyone has a DL-44, but everyone has a Denix and you have a Mauser, doesn't it make you feel a little bit more proud of it? I understand right now, in this new rush influx of Graflex's and stuff since the new movie is coming out and everyone wants one.

The hunt for real parts is still fun, just the prop building ......

I have some real graflexes, ANH/ESB, also the Vader stunt is one of them - but with to much of them showing up they get boring to watch again and again and comment (that they now cost big money doesn´t make it more exiting for me, for the new owners it might be different)

As a example - i have a stash of MGCs collected, the parts for most Han versions in real (Compac, Hensoldt, M19, vintage triholedisc, ......) but i can´t bring myself to redo my Han blasters, due to all the fake parts available now for everyone easily, which will be seen in a lot of build threads soon. To much available to be special for me anymore. Input overflow, something you see to often is not as exiting as a rare item.

So i try to aim for the more unusual, unloved props/versions now. Those i hope will not be seen in dozens soon (i thought that for the Vader ROTJ stunt, too :lol )

Hard to explain in a different language.
