Hippies Bio Paint Ups Etc.

There you go. Very cool man. Really like the weathering on the tusks. Did you find some leather in the end?

Nicely done Chris, the tusks turned out great.  Did you use the process George mentioned?  The whole thing turned out fantastic!!!

Chopped up a belt from TK Max. I sliced it narrow rather than wide. Bout 5mm. Then set a blow torch to it to beat it up a bit. I may change the leather at a later date if I find something better/not quite as thick.

Followed Georges advice on the tusks.

Thats what Im talkin' about!!! Nicely done my friend! Looks complete now doesnt it?

how did ya feel going a little outside your comfort zone? experimenting is pretty fun once you see it working

Nice!  The tusks came out great with a bit of weathering.  Not personally a fan of the lense damage, I figure they'd swap them out, but if you like it, that's what actually counts...:)

Hey guys.

Been a while since I've done anything but I decided to give one of my Stunts a kicking.
So I poured some alcohol and set fire to it. Then I took a blow torch to one side of the lense.

I hope you like.

Hi.

You that know me know that I just cant sit still. So I have decided to totally rework the above Stunt.
This is the first Stunt that I bought off George, It has had so many paint ups I can't remember. One thing is for sure, the paint on it is very thick. It needs to be stripped right back. Its gonna be hard work.
As it was the first Stunt I had it means a lot to me so Im gona take my time and clean it right up. I may even put the brow dent back in. Dunnow yet.
Ill post progress as I go.

Wow man, it looks like you have your work cut out for you Chris lol.  I like watching your work, and will definitely be following this one.

Either classic, matt black or matt green (like on Willis Jeeps and Hueys)
I dont fancy yellow mate. I think yellow would only work if it were ultra glossy and I dont fancy ultra glossy this time.
Not even sure if I'll bother putting lasers and hoses in.  Still thinking it through. Very open to ideas though mate.

I was messin' with ya on the yellow, that would be sad :(.  Matte black would look good, but the classic is always a no brainer as well.  Personally, I have enough classic P1's, so any more I do will be custom.  I'm getting another porsche and doing it white cause your's just blows me away and I love the look.  I'm thinking red mirrored lenses instead of blue, cause I don't want to be a copy cat  :p.  I'm sure no matter what you do it'll turn out great.
