Amazing work Chris, you going for any battle damage ?
Can't wait to see what type of lense color as well, I think a chrome lense would set it off really well.!

Kind of like a sleek sports car, I'm realizing I'm enjoying any color you throw down. Believe it or not, I may do a hot pink one for a girl I know soon. The gun metal is pretty awesome

Well I've now given it a good wash in clear laquer for depth and protection. I'll wait till it dries and then give it another coat but dusted it on.  At the moment (dare I say) its way too glossy for what I want. A dusting will give it more of a soft sheen which I feel will suit it better. More like the look in the above pics.

The lense is gona be a smoked one with mesh behind. Chrome I feel will be too much of a contrast.

Pics posted in a day or two.

Have to say that I've really enjoyed doing this one. It has to be the most cymmetrical I've done. Not that Ive done many.
Merry Christmas all.

Just waiting for materials to arrive to make hoses. Otherwise. FINISHED.

Very nice mate, the finish is outstanding, and you were right the chrome lense would have been touch contrast, the ones you have chosen are perfect !
This going into your private collection? Or putting it up sale ?

Thanks fella.
Prolly keep it. I will need to sell one on soon. Not sure which one yet though.
Gona start on a Tusky that I had off Hez in the next day or two. Gota say I love Pauls bios. Really nice castings. Looking forward to it. They hardly need anything doing. Cut out the eyes, sand the edges, give em a bath and paint them. Cool!

Yeah I have one of Paul's,mines the one on his web site witch I'm proud to own and always will !
Do not own a stunt mould one yet tho,so keep an eye on your pm next year Chris ;-)
Looking forward to seeing your tusky mate, sure you will make it pop like you have with this p1 .

I agree with Tom. Good choice on the color and lenses. I believe you could have painted it any color and it would look great. Any info available on how your doing the hoses?

Brian

TUSKY!

Well started painting Tusky today and I have to be honest, Im not sure.
Spent a good few hours on it.
Black, grey, pewter, green, pale blue, brass. Layer upon layer.
Any feedback or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Outside of the fact that it's not one of my favorites, the paint looks good.  I'm sure the pic doesn't do it justice though.  The last pic does give away the layers the best (at least on my PC screen it does).  Seems like it need some highlights though.  Just my opinion.  Nice work on it though!

Brian

Not too shiny IMO.  A little more verdigris might help break it up some.  Either way, it looks good Chris.

Its funny just started my Tracker today as well. Went with just a gun metal kind of look nothing to fantastic. Like what you have done with the colour. Don't think its to shiny. What is it like under a darker light? Are you going for a movie accurate look or your own take on it?

I wish my phone and I could take better photo's.
The last pic has been lightened slightly.
