High-res image of 100-Acre Wood?

I've looked around for a print of the original version of the Hundred-Acre Wood (not the Disney-fied version) with no luck.

I wanted to get a large print of this to frame and put in my daughter's room. I have a very old copy of "The Many Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh", which has the map on the inside cover and flyleaf. BUt if I scan it and blow it up, it's not gonna look fantastic.

I can do it by hand, but I don't really have the time. Anyone knw where I could get a print or even just a high-res image file of this?

Thanks,

I have Winnie-the-Pooh but the 100 acre wood illustration is in black and white. The book is approximately 5.5" x 8.5". I could scan it in high res, but you'd have to color it.

Yes, Shepard's B&W is what's in my book, too, although your edition sounds a tad bigger than mine.

If you could scan, I'd appreciate it. Please PM me if you would.

Thanks,

Hi

The real 100 acre wood is The Ashdown Forest near the village of Hartfield in the UK where AA Milne lived. It is a very special part of the world and indeed all of the places in the book actualy exist with slightly different names. I am lucky enough to live in the area and know it quite well and my wife is a real pooh fan indeed her car numer plate is POO5 FAN. She has many pooh books and would be happy to help if she could, also in Hartfield there is a shop called Pooh corner who have an extensive range of reproduction prints from the non Disney books amongst them is a large poster of the map you refer to in the book. If you can tell us what you want i am sure we can help.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I was noodling with reproducing the map by hand. But I know me, and I know my schedule, and I know that I'd get off to a great start, get distracted, and take forever to finish it.

If you could find out the price of the large poster you mentioned, I'd appreciate it.

Regards,

Squirk

You beat me to it... I was gonna mention Pooh Corner too...

My ex was a fan, so spent most summers in that place... and living just down the road too, didn't mean too far to travel every time..

Fantastic part of the country.

No Problem I will try and have a look over the weekend

Cheers

My Wife has fiund she has a spare copy of the map poster that she has not unwrapped, if you do not mind paying via paypal for the postage of £2.78 she says that you can have it. Anything to help bring Winnie The Pooh into a childs life.
