Hidden lightsaber box

Morning all, I have been a lurker here for a long time but I figured I should finally actually post something I am working on. I have a custom saber that I put together years ago, but it doesn’t really have a place to live. A couple of months ago I found an old recipe box at goodwill that seemed like it would be a good start. The idea is a hidden lightsaber box with a tray on top that I can make it look like a random everyday toolbox

Step one sanding down the box and building the tray

Current status, I still have some weathering to do and I need to make some appropriate Star Wars tools (Hydrospanners etc) to fill the tray but I think we are almost there and the box works as a good display as well
