I bought the premium membership for monthly renewal and it hasn't shown up under my user name. how long does it take to actually be activated?

you set that in your profile ask a staff member.

Conversely you could also take a quick glance at your PM capacity to see if it's taken effect. I seem to remember the process being really quick and fast to activate; almost instantly.
