Help with IDing parts of Terra Nova military costume

Looking for help in IDing parts of the military costumes from the upcoming TV show from Steven Spielberg called "Terra Nova". The basic premise is that in the future the Earth is or is becoming uninhabitable and a family is sent back in time to the age of dinosaurs to be part of a colony known as Terra Nova as part of a second chance to build a civilization.

Here's what I have so far; the base uniform is Vietnam style tiger stripe and by Vietnam style I mean that it's tiger stripe in the Vietnam style uniform pattern as opposed to the modern BDU style. The blouse/shirt has exposed buttons and at least two pockets, there may or may not be lower pockets but I don't think that it does since those came with the BDUs, and there might be a sleeve pocket which is a Vietnam thing.

The armor appears to be either motocross or BMX but I don't have a positive ID yet.

Gloves are probably tactical gloves but not certain.

No idea on the knee pads and I think the boots are probably motocross.

The knife has a nice logo on the scabbard but I have no idea whose logo that is but once that's figured out it should be easy to ID the exact model.

Any help on IDing the components and/or where to buy them would be appreciated.

The armor that the soldiers use in the second episode (and I guess on all other episodes from now on) is some cheap chinese motorcycle body armor. Available on ebay
As far as it looks it's not modified at all. Just add the BDUs and some boots and you're done

In the second episode where the 3 guys are attacked you can see they are all wearing different types of tiger stripe, one was even wearing vertical tiger stripe pants, probably Ranger brand. Still I'm interested in more piece ids.

The BDU's look to be Asian Tiger Stripe as opposed to Nam Tiger Stripe. It has more yellow in the actual stripe than the Nam stuff does.

I found armor like that under lots of different brands/names. It's all the same chinese body armor.

I too am Trying to ID the Tigers used, Being a Vietnam (MACV SOG) Re-enactor in my spare time, I know how hard it is to ID a specific pattern or shade that a company procuces..

My observations.

I am also enclined (as Lawrie stated) to think that in the first and second episodes they use Asian tiger stripe patterns, as the greens have that washed out look, similar to an ARVN Marine pattern.

Although with the 8 Point Covers (marine caps) im enclined to think that a Truspec/Proper Advisor pattern is used later on in the series, The Second picture of Reynolds's Back that F-N-S has posted, (looking at his Collar) points more towards that theory as the colours are bolder.

Essentially I think the easyest way would be to Pic a Green Dominant Tiger pattern, (that isnt as "bubbly" in the black as "Lightweight late war") and roll with it.

Moores is a good pattern for the Nam style exposed bottons, (Soldier of fortune in the UK also sell it)

Cannot see here if they are mentioned but the Helmets are a mix,

There are MICH/ACH helmets (in OD) with VAS shroud NV mount (in black) and Ops Core Side MICH/ACH Rails mounted (in black), aswell as OD velcro.

Ive also seen a pic of an LWH/M88 style Helmet with no mounts being used.

Some of the other guns Ive seen are Nerf Longshot's painted up.

And another pair of boots ive seen twice are Jungle Boots.. (got 2 pairs of 68 dated ones for re-enacting so im gonna use those as the MX boots arnt easy to get hold of here in the UK).

Belt is the Viper Duty Belt. (atleast the Viper belt is the same as the screen used design)
As are the black half finger gloves.

Knee pads seem to be elbow pads used on the knees, due to size, Unknow make at this time, im still looking.

Everything elce I havnt mentioned has already been mentioned here!

Spotted a pair of desert boots in episode 3,

As the survival class is headding back to Terra Nova and the camera pans down from the watch tower, the guy who moves left is wearing us issue dezzie boots. U see them as you hear "standby to secure the gate".
