Help: Vader helmet/mask connector piece

Anyone have any idea what's used to connect the helmet and the mask together (for an ESB/ROTJ piece).

I know this has been covered before, but I just can't seem to find the post!

I am not sure that the exact part has ever been identified but PVC plumbing rings seem to work well. The smaller one on the dome, to fit into the larger one you mount to the top of the mask.

Are these pretty easy to find at home improvement place like Home Depot? :confused

Just depends on what you want, you can get a pair of PVC pieces at home depot that will fit together and can work to hold the dome on the mask. (Try a PVC hub transition for 4" to 3" pipe.
If you want to get something that will match what you see on some of the behind the sceens photos, I have yet to see a source for a matching item.

I remember those behind the scene pics. I have no idea in heck what they are, but IMHO, I feel that they are some kind of bracket. Beats me though....

Yeah, you can even find free remnants of PVC and ABS pipe that they cut to custom lengths, just find corresponding sizes that inner and outer diameters fit into each other.

I've seen a myriad of plumbing flanges that look close to the real thing.
