Help please

Never used pepakura before. I did my best to follow the instructions for the storm trooper helmet. I have 110 lb card paper 8.5x11. I set my printer to A4 boarder less. I hit print and the copies were cut off. The pages were missing parts. I went back and noticed that on the split screen, the parts looked to be off the page. Did I put the wrong size in for the scale? I measured my ear to ear in inches and then
Converted it to mm. I got 295 mm. I added up one. What did I do wrong? Any help would be great.

thats not the right setting. you need to change it from a4 to letter. a4 is a smaller paper size than 8.5x11
