HELP! Ninja Turtle mask for 5 year old

My son wants to be a TMNT for Halloween. We ordered a suit but the mask that came with the suit is laughable. The latex mask at the costume shop is too big for him. What is the easiest way to make this happen? Sculpt, create a mold somehow and then pour latex????? I really don't want to disappoint him. He says I can do it. :sick

I was inspired by the other TMNT thread. I powered through this sculpt today. Gosh I am tired. The mask is not that smooth because I'm going to use real cloth. I'll probably tweak it some more before I run a mold on it.

Is it weird that I'm jealous of a five-year-old? That looks seriously awesome.

I wish I got that quality of costume when I was his age...instead of blister-packed store-bought costumes...which I thought were awesome at the time.
