Help Me find a Sculpting Medium.

I am total noob when it comes to sculpting, In the past I have only worked with scupey. I wanna make a sculpture of a decaying Monkey's Paw from the shot story. What are some sulpting mediums that will help me achieve that Alex CF style?

If your making molds and casting your creation the try to get hold of Chavant NSP (hard or medium) or Monster clay
