Hello,
After much trying to figure out what kind of vest this is, I was wondering if anyone knows if the tac vest worn by Stryker's black op soldiers in the movie X-2: X-men United was a found object or something they probably made for the production?
The reason I ask is I always wanted to do an Agent Zero costume from Wolverine Origin, as in the opening scene of the movie also has Styker along with his team in the plane wearing the exact same vest as they share too many similarities to be different vest, with the exception of the shoulder parts on some of the characters look like fuzzy velcro as they also missing the throat guard piece that is held on by the strap with buttons.
As I assuming it a found object, due to how Dead Pool's vest looks, thinking it was the base of all the vest with the and the lapse in time between productions. Among of other tell-tail signs on the Dead Pool vest, like quick release shoulder straps. But I may be totally wrong on this assessment and the costume designer went the extra mile, but with every "Made" tac vest they always lack certain things that would make them believable.
Here some pics of the vest from both productions
X2 upper body shot with throat guard attached
Overall
Agent Zero (Wolverine Origin) vest minus throat guard
Dead Pool's vest, note chest button placement as the only difference between his and Zero's vest is the lack of collar.
