Help identify these 2005-ish Windu / Fisto / Eeth Koth lightsaber replicas!

Hi all! I just acquired these two old school replica sabers and am hoping for some assistance identifying them. They're from runs produced around the time of or shortly after the Episode 1 DVD release - sometime around 2005. While I was here at the time, saber replicas from that period are a bit of a blind spot, as they were out of reach for me back then.

The Qui-gon is made of delrin and stainless steel with an original Covertec wheel. Based on browsing some ancient threads and Yourprops (link), this may be a Darth Hez hilt? I had no idea one with these materials had ever been made - what a cool piece!

The Obi-wan I have no idea about. A few details that might help ID it:

- Likely not from the same maker as the QGJ
- It's aluminum, with the emitter section highly polished and lacquered -- there's a tarnished area on the emitter bevel where the clear coat is damaged.
- The black part of the grip seems either anodized or chemically blackened, and the core within it is solid and highly polished -- fairly hefty weight!
- Brass valve has a red LED rather than purple hemisphere
- The covertec wheel is custom machined and aluminum, with indeterminate attachment method (glue on integrated stem?)
- The pommel cubes are individual separate parts, rather than on a ring as on many replicas.
- The pommel cubes are clocked 30 degrees off from where they should be to match the on-screen appearance.

I'm hoping someone out there with one of these might know if it's possible to correct the angle of the cubes. It's solidly assembled and apart from the emitter I can't see an obvious way to take it apart.

Interesting, thanks y’all. Any idea how the lower end is assembled?

I’d like to correct the rotation of the pommel if possible so that the cubes are aligned properly. Maybe replace the Covertec with a correct and/or un-bent one too.

Its been a while since I owned a Larbel Obi, but from what I remember once you remove the covertec everything else can be unscrewed pretty easily. The pommel had threading on it that allowed to be screwed into the rest of the saber body. I also recall there being Chinese characters inscribed on parts of the saber that are usually hidden.

I have a few more early-mid 2000's saber identification puzzles for my fellow RPF oldtimers out there :)

A - Mace Windu Ep 1 on-screen saber / Plo Koon Ep 2. The emitter is attached with threaded rod but otherwise it's a solid chunk. This feels like all the maker had to go on was the VD and/or PartsofSW as it's fairly basic. The Covertec wheel is turned Delrin. I found a couple on Yourprops that are similar, but no makers are named (LINK, LINK). The main body might be clear anodized? No idea on this one's maker.

B & C - Most likely EDC Studios, according to both the seller and research -- I did find one match on Yourprops that also says EDC (LINK). These are clearly from the same maker and are both assembled over a threaded rod with the body sections held captive by threaded end pieces. Both have emitter gems though they certainly could have been added by previous owner; plastic Covertec wheels.

D - Mace Windu Ep 1 Visual Dictionary / ******* Maul / Eeth Koth Ep 2. The grip grooves are deeper than those on saber C. Covertec wheel is turned Delrin. This one does not disassemble and its emitter hole is about 2.75" deep and .75" in diameter, with a rough aluminum plug at the bottom (lower right of third pic). I found one like it on Yourprops (LINK) but no attribution. The glued in aluminum core brings to mind the similar feature on the Larbel Obi-wan saber in the first post...

A & D came from the same collection as the sabers in the first post and all were originally purchased from makers here on the RPF - any ideas on who made them?

I’m 99.9% certain that D was mine:) lol

I made that one for myself, using leftover parts from Jedi135’s and my Maul run. The plug was probably to hold a threaded rod that attached the new emitter thru the Maul grip section. If memory serves, it should look like a threaded aluminum ring epoxied to a threaded rod.

That is definitely a Jedi135 black knurled button, and the Delrin Covertec knobs are mine. I still have some.lol

Someone reworked the pommel, though. Those splines have been sanded over bad- They probably had to fix the dsmage they did to them. The endcap and 8hole washer section is different. I used an acorn nut to hold mine on.

Bad old pic of that one in my former collection, and the new one.

Also, the large flats around the LEDs, The long 1/8 endmill grooves for the splines, and the 1/8 endmill track in the pockets…. are dead giveaway is that it’s mine.lol
