help ID this half-Maul sabre

Just picked this up from Wuher--and now that I have it, it's a mystery to me. Wuher thought it was an old RE, but Roman's work was always 'crisp' for lack of a better word--this one has obvious machine marks all over, a rounded emitter plate, oversized rectangles next to red LEDs, black hex screws--just odd--and not up to RE's sharp work.

Is this an early Pienta? There are tons of tells that should be easy for someone here to ID:

I wish I knew more about it. I always liked the cut end. It think it's far more interesting than the red plastic crystal Master Replicas used.

Although it looks a little like a Zenkai I have--mine's much cleaner/crisper. It does have black hex screws--but other details are so much more loose on the half maul I'm trying to ID. I'm confident it's NOT a Zenkai.

im thinking jedi135 or Romans

Tim: that's a real possibility. Actually, the 'guts' of the thing is what's making me think Jedi 135. I remember seeing something like this years ago--before the MR battle damaged Maul. And I think it was back when Tim was still part of the old RPF. And he was the 1st guy to do a battle damaged Maul, wasn't he? I wish my old images weren't stuck in my ancient, dead computer.

The more I think about it, the more details I'm remembering about either this sabre, or one very similar to it. I had pictures at one time, years ago, of a very similar build to this one--if not this one itself. But I never had one of the earliest half-Mauls, so anyone from back in the day who did--I could really use your help here. I'd love to think it's one of Tim's--but what I'd like more is the certainty of knowing.

Definitely not mine, but it looks as though they may have upgraded the red knob with one of mine.

On the other hand, I'm tempted to say it's a Jedi135 because of the silver knob. Those are the same kind he used around the time I met Hez at a sci-fi convention in Dallas. Other than that this version does not look familiar in any way.

I've never seen an emitter like that before.

Lemme look through some old photos. I'm pretty sure I have pictures of Tim's.

Though also tempted to say Tim since the emitter is clearly made to hold a blade and he was one of the first to do that.
