[HELP] Can Someone Identify Firefly Background Material?

Hello,

Hopefully I'm doing this right. I've posted a fair bit before but never made a thread. Sorry if asking like this is not right But I was wondering if anyone knew the type of material that was used for the back of Jayne's gun wall in the Objects in Space Episode. Image here.

I've tried looking at a lot of different honey comb grating but none of them seem to be that exact shape or that deep. If it's not grating I'm not sure what else to search for Any help is appreciated!

Given that it is somewhat irregular, I wonder if it is cardboard honeycomb support material. They use it in packing and some larger box designs. It was just a set after all. No reason to waste money on metal grates when cardboard and paint work just fine! :lol

Honestly it looks like poultry netting 'chicken wire' to me.

Sorry I missed your post, aye wire doesn't have the netting

Found this though, at the very least it looks similar enough if they didn't use cardboard.
