HELP: AT-ST driver commlink...

Hi all

A friend of mine is researching the AT ST outfit and would like to know what the commlink is made of?
Any kind of information is highly appreciated....here´s a pic-collage of the thing I´m talking about.

The base part looks to be from the V8 kit, Part #52 - Carburetor (FRONT half), what´s the rest?

Anyone?
