hi everyone. had some great help deciding which model to start with, thanks all, and i went for the ertl/mpc falcon and a star destroyer. i am desperately looking for the detailing parts for the falcon (the smaller sides and the cock pit details) and after several emails to people and search what feels like the whole internet no luck. also anyone got any suggestions to which kits to bash to super detail both. thanks in advance. if anyone is selling or knows where to get the falcon pieces give me a yell. cheers james:cry

For the Star Destroyer, seek out 1/700 battleships.

For the Falcon, I believe the side walls were detailed with various automotive parts - I'd recommend model tractor-trailers, F-1 racecars and military vehicles.
