hello and pics from a Noob

hello everybody. I just wanted to pop in really quick and say hi to those of you that I know and to those I don't. My name is James, and I live in New York City. I have been in the costuming hobby for several years now, mainly with Batman/super hero related stuff, but finally decided to take the plunge here too, since the registration was open.

everything looks good, but ditch the rubies vader or start modding it, those things look terrible

compared to all the custom suits, you're right, they do look bad. I have already gotten new gloves, and a new undersuit for it. I'm also working on repainting it, and will get new chest box rods, new lenses, and a new cod. I really want to spring up for a new bucket, but I just don't have the $$ for the moment. so my aim with it is to make one that I can say I'm satisfied with, cuz I know I'll never have one that I'm happy with. there's always something that you notice about it that bugs you. but in the end, I just want the same reaction to Vader that I get to batman when people see it. they say "hey! that's Vader!!" not "hey that's a Vader costume!"
