Hawkman Helmet

I think it's dead-on, but if it were ME, I would change the eyes strictly for "real world" asthetic sake. I think I would make the eyes a solid color to get rid of the "cartooney" look. Otherwise, NICE! :thumbsup

Nice! Looks like an Alex Ross helmet to me (which is a good thing btw)... :thumbsup

It looks a bit tight around the ear. Are you going to dermal that out a bit,
so you don't have an ear ache by the end of the day?

I'm leaning forward in the pic; actually it fits just fine and the ears help hold the helmet in place.

As far as making the eyes less "cartoony", that's a nice idea but not one for me. I prefer suits that look as if they walked straight "off the page" and just about every helmet ever drawn in the comics has the white eyes with black vertical slits look. My actual eyes sit on the inside of each eye of the helmet also, and without the wire mesh the eyes look really silly (think cross-eyed).

Very Nice helmet - I like the one on his site as well -
I would like to get one, but the contact link is indeed down. Here is hopping he fixes it soon.
This would be a great item to own - now I just need to find a good Dr. Fate helmet and a Nova helmet! :)

I don't know if he is a member here; I know he was having some production issues- perhaps that is why his site is down.

He has had some recasting problems in the past; it's purely my speculation that he may not be selling any items anymore.

That would be a shame. I always hate to see people stop making & selling things because of the fear of recasting. It seems like giving up, like letting someone else have too much control. I understand the frustration, but I think it is an over-reaction, and hurts this hobby as much as the recasting itself.
Regardless that might not even be why he stopped, so I suppose it does not matter. I will just keep looking, I'll eventualy find one for sale, or gain enough skill to make it myself. :)
Thanks for sharing pics of yours - inspired me to add that helmet back on my list of things to search for.
