Has anyone received their master Replica Kermit the Frog?

Dont think it's shipping just yet, last I heard the primary shipment has not yet arrived in Jersey, but is expected any time now.

Is that shipped to you from the NJ warehouse? or from you directly after you get them from NJ?

Awsome..

mine's here but my wife's got the cam with her. (doh.)

Looks quite nice though. For the money, it's a top notch job by MR IMO.

The packaging is awesome as well. Very heavy-duty (amazingly so) and the vac formed supports are a great touch. The satin is nice too, but I will say it makes the box look a little like a coffin. :lol

Only minor gripe I have is the head's a TINY bit puffier than the "puppet" Kermit, however, it's important to note that the photopuppet Kermit, which MR based this on, has a very puffy head (so much so that I really wish Disney would get someone to tweak the real photopuppet to look a little more natural.)

Actually, MR's is a bit of an improvement over the real photopuppet in that regard.

I gotta say, for the price, it's a really nice pickup.

Man......mine won't arrive until the end of the month..........ordered it from a vendor.........and It's killing me not to get a good look from you lucky buzzards who got theirs already.....LOL. Can't wait to see your pics folks. :)

Thats good to hear.

Have you seen the Proto Pics of Gonzo yet Tom?

yes, and so far so good on that one, eh? I just hope they keep sticking to the 70's look. IE: if they do Waldorf and Statler, you've GOT to do fresh sculpts and not use the same mold as the ones Henson/Disney has been using since the 90's. Don't get me wrong, those are great, but there's a little bit of the "feel" missing. There's something really magical about those original, Muppet Show puppets on those guys.

Pics Tom pics... As soon as the wife gets home.... :lol

The Antron FLeece used on Kermit is very forgiving in hiding seams, you should be able to seam rip the head top seam apart and pull some of the stuffing out, I may look into that if I don't like the look.

AMEN. I love the original Statler & Waldorf look and performers (the new puppets and performers cant measure up worth a crap in my opinion) and I hope they do these puppets in this style, that is if they make them at all.
