Harry Potter and the Deathly Halllows (Part 1) NEW PROPS (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

Hey guys, after seeing Deathly Hallows, there is a BUNCH of new Paper Props, and physical props that i'd love to take a crack at that are NOT in Noble's Collection (Ha, see what i did there. ) Here's some very few ones I can think of off the top of my head:

-Dumbledore's Obituary Prophet
-Mirror Shard (I almost wonder why Noble doesn't have this yet?)
-Mad-Eye's Polyjuice Bottle (I know this isn't new, butfor the love of people why doesn't Nobel have this either?)
-The Will of Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore
-The Deluminator
-The Tales of Beedle the Bard
-The Radio that the trio carry with them
-Purple Ministry Phamplets (Excuse my spelling )
-Undesirable No. 1 Posters (Screen Accurate Version)
-Ministry Prophets (Can't remember what the headline was, but they were right next to the stack of Undesirable posters)
-Anti-Muggle Books in Umbridge's desk ("When Muggles Attack" comes to mind. Lol)
-Umbridge's watch papers (feautring Hermione, Arthur Weasley, Sirius, Mad-Eye, and Dumbledore)
-DECOY DETONATORS
-Essence of Ditanny Bottle
-Random Book that Hermione starts reading from when she figures out about the Basilisk.
-The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore
-A History of Magic
-Photos of Young Grindlewald

Hmmm, if im missing any feel free to add to the list.

Now, i've actually almost finished the screen-accurate Undesirable Posters, surprisingly enough, the ones in the film all use a scene from Half-Blood Prince, rather than the other wo random ones we've seen floating around the internet, which makes this poster even easier to put together, so i'll probably have it finished within the week. Lol. I actually started on the Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore and got pretty darn close to finished, identified quite a few of the fonts...and then my hard drive crashed, so yeah that's gone. I'm also trying to figure out tales of Beedle the Bard, and the Ministry Phamplets. If anyone else wants to help make Deathly Hallows props lemme know!

Oh I would love to make all of that stuff too. I think its a good thing noble hasn't done the mirror yet because it would probably be really expensive and its a piece of mirror. I think the mirror would be the easiest thing to make.
I think you covered most of the things that would be awesome to make. everytime I think of something, I look at your list and see its already there..
I think, even though its not particularily a Deathly Hallows prop, but since we see Rita, it would be awesome to make her green Quick Quotes Quill.

I thought the exact same thing about the Decoy Detonators, they are crying out to be built!

The one other thing I'd add to the list is the Exploding (Eurumpet?)Horn from the Lovegood's house.

It's just looks like a big polycarved spiral, but I though it was a pretty cool interpretation, and a nice nod to the books.

Same with the briefly seen stone bust of Rowena Ravenclaw wearing her diadem. I can't find any pics of that yet....

Thats the erumpent horn? wow, I never even saw it in the movie. I didnt think it would be that big either. I did see Ravenclaw's bust though. You'll probably have to wait until its out on bluray and DVD which is going to seem like forever.

UPDATE!

I've got 2 of the three Undesirable No. 1 Posters finished, they're MUCH more screen accurate than my previous one, the fonts still aren't exact, but it's MUCH MUCH closer now the we've seen more detailed pictures only the new pics we got aren't in high-res, but my posters are. Here's a detail shot:

EDIT: My mistake! There are FOUR versions of the Undesirable Poster! Actually to be more clear, i believe that there are 3 "Flyer" Versions, and then 1 actual Poster-Sized One, which is slightly different than the flyers

EDIT #2: Actually i'm practically finished with the entire set now. Just making some touch ups!

EDIT a MILLION!: Finished! I've got the entire set done, the last Poster-Sized Version isn't totally screen acurrate, at the bottom it LOOKED like there was some text at the bottom so I put some there, there may not be though, so i'm not sure. But anyways, here's a preview!:

I just saw the movie today and thought it was great! I'd love to try my hand at the Tales of Beedle the Bard book, or maybe the "When Muggles attack" I thought that was great. Great job on the posters btw, definitely something i'd put on my wall.

Why thank you! I try. I might actually consider doing a run of them, if I can figure the exact sizes because they seem to have various sizes throughout the movie. Originally I was printing the flyers on Legal sized Paper, which worked fine but the ones in the movie actually looked smaller, so im not sure i'd have to figure it out, the poster wont be too hard to figure the size out, but it seems to have various sizes too, because when the stack of posters was next to the stack of flyers in the film, the posters were smallr than the daily prophet, but later in diagon alley there was a HUGE poster on one of the brick walls. And i'd also need to find some good paper to print it on. If anyone can give me any info on some good paper, it'd be helpful.

Oh, and the headline for that prophet in the ministry that was next to the undesirable number 1 stuff simply said Harry Potter Undesirable No. 1 or Number 1, Cant recall wether it was No or Number, but it looked pretty much the same as the "He Who Must Not Be Named RETURNS" Prophet in Order of the Phoenix, so if anyone has done that one up *cough*Monsters_05*cough* It'd be all too easy to do this one up as well.

Now, i need something else to do! I've actually been thinking about tracking down the radio from the movie, because it seems that anything technological seen on screen (like colin's camera from Chamber of Secrets) is something vintage, so im not sure where to start with the radio, i guess first off to see if there's a brand name, cause i doubt they custom made that radio, it looks like something you can buy, not very wizard like, they might've made modifications to an ACTUAL one, but it definately looked like a radio they bought and used. All i really noticed was that it's somewhat thin, not big and bulky, it has a handle, and it has strips of blue lights that light up whenever you turn it on. So yeah, imma try and start doing some research for that, in the mean time i guess i could rally up some references for all the bloody props i listed in the first post. Lol

I just totally did that up cause i was bored...Geez I need to be bored more often.
All I really need to do, is go back over everything. Do some retracing, smooth out rough edges, and get the coloring right. When it's small it looks very good, but trust me, i still need lots of touching up to do on it.

Hmm i don't know, but in the film wizardry book, it shows him drawing it, and the paper has some other stuff on it. i guess it could of been from another take that they cut from the movie. Also it was at a different angle so i guess it was a deleted scene.

Ohhh! Okay that makes sense. I havent gotten the pleasure of obtaining one of the film wizardry books yet (I so want to though!) Well, i might try to do the version in the film wizardry book some time, but for now im going to keep trying to work on my render of the version used in the film. Lol

EDIT: My next Deathly Hallows project...track down that dang radio. I want to find it now, because i have no clue where to start! Lol, so if anyone would like to join me in tracking down Ron's Radio i'd appriciate it

Here's the best reference i could find, and it's the BACK of the radio:

Now this is an interesting find, this is a picture of a deleted scene from the film in which Ron has to go tell his dad supper is ready (not shown in the final cut of the film) and apparently Ron goes into the shed to find his dad tinkering with Muggle Artifacts again, and i've highlighted and pointed to a particularly interesting item...a radio. now i dont know if it's the SAME radio as ron and the trio carry throughout the film, but wouldn't it be interesting if in this deleted scene Ron takes the Radio? Hmmmm. But as i said it's unclear if it's the same radio or not, it looks like it COUDL be roughly the same size and shape, something tells me it's not the same one because it does look a tad too big but there are some small details that match up, notice that both this radio and the one we know for SURE is the one ron is carrying around, both have legs, it doesn't sit directly on it's bottom, it has short little legs slightly elevating it, and if you look at the first reference pic, the bumps near the front of the radio, almost mirror where the station tuner indicator thing is and where the speakers separations are, just a thought.

but other than these four images, we have nothing else available until the blu-ray of the movie comes out. not a brand name, nowehere to start except these pictures. So if anyone has any idea at all about where i could start looking lemme know

I've made a replica of Dumbledore's will and I'm trying to make a replica of the tales of beedle the bard. I 've also taken screenshots from the films,harrypotterwiki, and google to recreate the paintings in hogwarts. I've got one painting done and three more sketched out. I'll try and get pics posted soon
