I would say a good 3rd of those inquiries call it the Hans Solo Desk. Go fig!

In English, the "e" in "Trek" is pronounced like the "e" in the German word "sechs". From what little I know of the German language, I don't think there is a phonetic equivalent for the pronounciation of "Track".

Maybe it's the German letter "ä" like in the word "Bäcker" ("baker" in english). If so, I must confess that I always pronounced "Star Trek" wrong. But I find it difficult to pronounce "Trek" instead of "Track", which is much easier.
