Hannibal Lecter - which straight jacket?

Does onyone know exactly what style of straight jacket was used for Hannibal Lecter in "Silence of the Lambs"? I've seen all kinds, with varying numbers of straps and buckles, but not sure what the correct style is.

Anyone know where to get the correct type?

It's a "Posey" brand, size large. The collars are color coded by size- large is yellow. :thumbsup

Thanks for the info! No real plans at the moment. I'd just like a kick ass halloween costume at first really. :lol But yeah, if I get an accurate straight jacket the next step would be to work on a mannequin..... :cool

I've got almost everything to make a "Cannibal-to-go" on his push cart, I just need to get my buddy Phil to paint me up a nice head one of these days, and find a good muzzle for him. :lol

There's actually one guy on eBay that makes a really nice one, but it's got the heavy glass cloth texture from the 2nd movie instead of the smoother, first movie version. Give it a good sanding and replace the leather straps w/ canvas and it would be pretty close to perfect. :thumbsup He only seems to post them when I'm broke, but I'll catch up with him one of these days. :lol

As for the mask, is the one in Silence an off cream colour, secured with black nylon webbing held with push clips? And the one in Hannibal is a dark brown colour secured with brown leather, buckled straps? Odd that they changed it so much since I assume it's supposed to be the same mask.
