I realize it's a bit old, but I just came across this thread while researching my own Ant-Man helmet build.

I have to ask (on the chance this actually gets seen!) - what was used for the antenna? That shape is perfect!

They're small paintbrush handles, that I lucked upon on eBay.

I'll be posting some more updates to this costume soon, as I've upgraded the boots, cast a new helmet, and redone the shorts/gloves.

I wanted to come back and say THANK YOU! for the antenna suggestion! I was finally able to get my Ant-Man helmet finished (I had an... adventure, getting it chromed), and that was the final touch. I'll be posting a build thread myself to not hijack yours, but here's a shot I found online of how it turned out:

Well thanks! I had no idea you were watching! lol

And I'm quietly selling kits of my "Silver Age Dome Helmet" on my site (in my signature). Marvel has apparently been issuing C&D's like crazy the past month, so it'd be unwise of me to sell an "Ant-Man" helmet, especially with the official announcement of the new movie.

After all that work, what you need is a voice-responsive LED array in the mouth piece. And a canister of Pym particles. And a skinny, stylish female assistance/sidekick.
