Han Solo's ESB shirt?

Hey gang, I'm really wanting to do Han's white (double breasted, Drop front, ? ) shirt from ESB.

Does anyone know of a good pattern, have a material suggestion, or know a place where these can be bout for a good price? Any info, or tips would be greatly appreciated.

That is what I thought. Either way I would also like to find a pattern.

I kind of thought the same thing, but Han's is more "fitted" then a chef's shirt, and he has no visible fasteners. It is a lot like Luke's ROTJ shirt, maybe not exactly like it, but close, I can't find a pattern for that either, or I'd use that.

I made one when I was in college. I had to draft the pattern from scratch. I wore the darn thing so much I wore it out.

Can't you buy a Chefs shirt, take a seam ripper to it and bring it in a bit here and there? Hm. I wonder where you'd get one. I know it's not my topic but it would be great if anyone could post some clear reference pictures of his shirt too. It would help

Strangely C & A used to make a shirt that was a dead ringer for Hans shirt in the mid eighties. I had two that I used to wear out to the clubs. Sadly both got ripped to shreds in fights, I wasn't always good. :angel :angry

Just a bit od useless info there, cos C & A went bust years ago.
