hey there you guys... my friend recently got halo reach legendary edetion and the diary with it with so many paper props from the game..... so im wondering does anyone know of any halo paper props.... not just pepakura
 
I was going to suggest this too, there is a lot of fun things in the legendary edition of Halo Reach. I got it myself and Dr. Halsey's book are just full of nice facts. The things I would like to see are blank versions of the candidate records, Intersystem News(front and back), the for your comfort paper thing, ORION candidate charts?, Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) papers, the picoliter biochemical analysis lab thing, and last but not least Dr Halsey's ID card.

I'll try to get som pictures or scans for you. But it might take a little time.

Sorry for the double post here, but I can't get near a scanner for a while.. So I can't get those files I said I would try to show here. Anyone else got the resources to get them here?
 
lol I had made a post about the props that come with the legendary edition as well..the night I got it. It's really neat stuff. The entire journal itself is a great display piece. I was actually quite surprised at how high quality Halsey's badge was (thought it was going to be alot flimsier than it actually is)

but yea, im really happy I went along with purchasing it. It's an instant paper prop collection

I know, great source of info and props. The reason I ask for the stuff is because I would love to have some blank copies of the stuff, so we all could fill inn our own info and make our own spartan III's. Have you read the whole Journal?

okay so if no1 has any scans of the journal (yet) then it seems we will have to come up with some ideas for props..........I.D card?
 
If the ID card from the Journal can be scanned and uploaded here I can make a blank ID card that all someone would have to do is put a picture of themeselves on it, thier own serial number and then just laminate it at a school supply store if they have one in their area.

That's what I thought too, would be kind of cool! I'll see if I can get some scans up, or pics.. but like I said in a previous post, it might take a while.

I'll see if i can scan the cards soon, the scanner is buried under action figure parts lol. I was impressed with the quality of the stuff. I'd found a PDF version of the journal and other stuff online before i decided to buy it.
 
800 DPI. hopefully the first try gets them to show up on here as a useable size. Just clear out the info, add your own (though some of the technobabble i'd probably leave alone) and print on card stock. I think the cardstock they used is special because it is made to fold up but i think normal would work as long as you don't overdo it.

Just did some surfing and came across this .rar file that contains high-rez scans of all the paper documents from the special edition, including the journal. I checked them out, and there are no problems with any of the files.

This is perfect! Now just to clean them up and they'll be like new :D
 
Here's some more things I cleaned up out of that ONI Zip File. I still need to clean up the back of the badge but I'm thinking about maybe doing a custom run with peoples names on the front of the badge, flipped on the back of the badge with some holo paper to put it on then get the badges laminated for people on here that might be intrested.
