I don't have much costume-wise — I'm rehashing, with some modifications, my Vietnam zombie costume from the comic '68. But where I'm going is the fun part. The old Weston State Hospital (now TransAllegheny Lunatic Asylum (the actual original name)) that I have been to numerous times over 10 years or so, taking photos and exploring, was bought by individuals years ago who now advertise it as a haunted attraction. Personally, I never encountered anything in my many visits, but this is a much better fate than a lot of old asylums have faced-demolition.
They hold a Halloween party on the grounds now, and this will be the first time I've made it up. Ought to be a fun night and alternative to the normal bar-party Halloween. They have several bands and it's BYOB (which I dig since I can bring my booze-bearing props!)
So if anyone is in the Weston, WV area on Sat. Oct 26th, come on out. Should be a blast! Look for me or a girl dressed like Abby from "NCIS" and come say Hello.
