well well well ladies and gentlemen
it's coming up on that super awesome time of the year we all get wicked excited about....HALLOWEEN!!!

Post away i can't wait to hear from you all!!!!
:coolULTRA OUT!

I'm working on Guybrush Threepwood from Monkey Island 2 for Halloween. Hoping to actually finish on time for once.

There'll be a build thread once I make some progress. Right now it's just a half finished pair of pants and a pile of fabric.

Mandalorian most likely as R2 is in the shop for repairs and I have not made enough progress on anything else at the moment.

I'll be going as the Tenth Doctor and my wife will be going as Donna Noble. We're both about 85% done with our costumes. I think this year will be the first in a long time we will actually have our costumes done with plenty of time before Halloween!!

good to see some members getting a head start!!
i was kind of hoping this thread would help kick some people in the pants to get an early start.
soooo many procrastinators often wait until the last minute and wonder "why didn't i start earlier this year!???!"
i've learned my lesson years ago trying to make dead lines putting together cosplay for comic and anime cons lol
:ninja ultra out!

I'm thinking of making a Stargate costume for a costume party in October. I just hope it won't be too hard to make.

Think I may just get some orange sweat pants and a white t-shirt and carry my portal gun around. Cheap and easy.

I'm going to do a dwarf costume I'm not sure how to go about posting pics yet also working on a rocketeer costume for a friend and steam punk for the gf. so my time is short hopefully I can get it all done in time. ^___^

Just completed my costume last week. Leatherface from TCM 2003.

Going to be Marty McFly.

GF wants to be Thomas From Daft Punk. Hopefully I can finish the sculpt in time.

Nothing too fancy, hazmat suit, blue rubber chem gloves, glasses, grow in my goatee...easy Walter White (I already have a shaved head). Should cost about $35 bucks.

Halloween is about the season of the Witch and all things scary, but i've always wondered why people dress up in non-Halloween related costumes, when did Halloween stop becoming Halloween and just become a fancy dress night??

I lived in the U.K where people only ever wore horror costumes and it's the same here in Australia, but i have noticed in the U.S from what i've seen on TV etc, people wear what they like, and i've always wondered why?

Anyone have any views?

well ch33zeburg3r...it happened like this....
here in the usa halloween was meant as an adult party back in the early 1900's on through the 1960's and had a lot of "scaryness" to it with ghost stories, fortune telling and scary pranks.
then in the 1960's to keep the children from burning things up and doing crazy pranks they started having kids halloween parties and trick or treating. so moms started dressing their kids as any thing they wanted to be, thus any thing goes on halloween as far as costumes. but now i've noticed everything is starting to go full circle back to the adult themed parties and kids are getting back into the scary things again. so you never know it might just end up where it started back in the day!

Another Walter White/Heisenberg. Black pants, dark striped shirt, Pork Pie hat, sun glasses, dark jacket, making bags of sky blue rock candy too. I already have the goatee and shaved head. On top of all that I actually look like Bryan Cranston some, same age etc.

Thanks for that, i never knew that at all, i remember growing up when the whole Trick or Treat thing came over from the U.S to the U.K and knocking on doors to have people say "What's Trick or Treat"??

The U.S does do a better than anywhere else though.

Thanks ;)

I am wearing my best attempt at a Papa Emeritus II costume. Papa is the singer for the band Ghost (Or Ghost B.C.). I made his cloak, hat, and staff myself and painted an old man mask I got from a halloween store. sain I'd love to see pics of the Thomas sculpt! I attempted a Guy Man Helmet but failed...
