Starting my costume for halloween, still have a couple weeks to get it done. Started with some accurate bandolier skulls. :)

Updated: Here are some photos of the suit in action. Most everything worked out well, considering my test fit was at the event, but the next suit will have several changes. It was very cool being over 6" taller with the lifts, and comfortable to wear. I forgot how hot and abusive these suits can be, after 5hrs I was DONE! I think from start to finish was able to do it in about 12 days, working a few hours a day except the last two were late nights. Fortunately everything went together good without problems. The cannon light is a 4.00 flashlight from radio shack with blue plastic glued on the lens. Tried dental acrylic gloss on the teeth and think it works good. Julie's animatronics in the computer gaunt are awesome. I took one fall and only lost a dread, I don't think I hurt anyone.... pretty lucky!
1000's of people yelling PREDATOR!! = priceless
My favorite costume of the night...my wife's!

Worked on my feet today, altogether was able to get a 4-5" lift and still have comfort and stability. Using a material for the base and lift called EVA, this is 48 cloud, very dense material that is used by shoebuilders. I plan to get more work done today, have 6 days to finish! Doing my wifes costume aslo, think she just needs a belt?

This guy is a suit building animal. If anyone can build it in 10 days its Gene.I have no idea how he does it but, he does.

Almost finished with the torso, finished the gaunts but sold them, so I need to do another set.
Thanks for the encouragement Scott! For some reason, year after year I wait until the last week to start building my suit.

Gene, This suit looks freaking amazing, but make those pictures a bit smaller, they are so big you can't appreciate the kickass paintjob you done on those skins.
Once again knocked out of the park buddy.

Thanks Chris! Pics smaller now. Made some hose material out of some urethane foam, TC 280. If you have ever tried to use the plastic wire conduit, it is split and doesn't flex naturally. I just used the conduit as the mold and poured the urethane inside. This is used on the chest armor to left shoulder armor, and computer gauntlet to shoulder armor attachments by using magnets. Helmet, lasers and cannon getting ready.

Looking good gene!! Way to ignore the pred suit building speed limit lol cracking details you got on there.

You started with trophy dash then I blinked and then suddenly a full blown pred evolved
