Halloween 2 Costume call.

Okay guys, we just scored the Costuming gig for the finale of Halloween 2.

It'll be shot in Atlanta April 1,2 and 3rd. It will be a paying gig, what that will be remains to be seen, but will hopefully be in the $100-$150 range per day. You will have to do at least the first two days to get paid. The 3rd day is b-roll stuff.

We will provide transportation to and from location and feed you all day.

You are welcome to bring your own costume and have it appear in the Movie, provided it's not a licensed character and it is approved by Casting.

We need to have 250 high quality Costumed Party goers. We will have full Costume, Makeup and Hair folks available if you don't want bring your own. We will do your Hair and Makeup as little or as much as you'd like.

I'll be posting more details soon and giving you guys the email address to get the Extra's Application we have.

Rob Zombie has been really cool to work with so far, and wanted this to be a non-Hollywood Costume and Makeup deal. He'd seen our other stuff and wanted our DIY/Punk feel. It's pretty cool he's letting us little guys show off.

So there - more to come.

And yes, I put on Michael Myers yesterday, and it was crazy.

Cool! Having seen your work, I know you will do a great job. :)

And Rob Zombie... well, I am biting my tongue, eh. :unsure

:p

Thanks for the compliments.
I don't care if Pol Pot is directing, it's my first major Hollywood gig, and it could be worse than the Halloween franchise.

Rob is actually really passionate about the genre and a regular guy. I may have doubts about his path at this point, but that's no one's business but his.

I did like Corpses and Rejects, and was hoping for more of that type work from him. I'd like to see him try a Western, like "Blood Meridian."

WOW! I didn't know there was gonna be a sequel. I'm suprised Zombies doing it. I'll wait for the reviews on this before I see it, seeing as how much the first one SUCKED. :unsure

He told me just to piss you off he's doing 2 and 3.

I'm not really looking for opinions or reviews of Rob Zombie or his films or what you think about him personally. I could care less what you think. This is an Opportunity thread. Not an Opinion thread. If you don't want to do it fine, keep your trap shut, and stay the hell out of the discussion.

I'm looking for people who WANT TO BE IN THE MOVIE, have their Costume in a Hollywood film, and get f@#%ing PAID for doing the work. Start another thread if you want to b@#$h about his shortcomings and how terrible you think his movies are. Pretty sure that's still possible for you to do on this Forum without hijacking this thread.

Jeezus some of you guys. Here's someone offering work, fun, cool, may lead to other things work, and all you can do is offer little smug reviews.
Stay out.

Laffo

Wow!

Getting paid is one thing, but getting fed too?

As well as it being Halloween and Rob?

Awesome offer AND opportunity.

Thanks for making it Bro!!!

Cant wait to get more details on this! Ive got some extra / stand-in experience and would love to help out!

I want to do this sooooooo f*ing bad!!! To be an ANY Halloween movie would simply rock!! The only thing better to me would be a Friday the 13th movie!

However, I'm up near Philly. :cry They are only looking for locals right?

Well in true Hollywood form the job I had yesterday is not the job I have today. Massive cuts went through the budget and everything's cut. I'll keep you guys posted if and when things change, but it looks like a bust at this point.
Crap.
Laffo.

Hope everything goes through for you. I just sent the info to a friend, who lives in the area. I know he'd be all over the chance.

Thanks Mr. The Camaro.
I'm not happy at all about the turn of events. I'm just waiting to get alone with Rob and get a talk in with him. He's still slated to shoot at my Drive-In so he's gonna have to work with me on the shoot eventually. I'm just waiting for the face to face. Gots some things to say.

Sorry to hear that, Laffo. I know it is a disappointment.
The multiple budget changes and creative differences have been just hammering this thing since the word go. :unsure

Thanks and Yep, and it's only been green-lighted since December. You know whatever. If I wanted to work in Hollywood I would.
Seemed like a huge challenge, and I was proud that in 4 weeks 4 friends and I could put together 250 costumes, hair and makeups, from toilet paper and latex Zombies (my favorite always, hands down) to full body silicone Werewolves, to a Ghetto Weave and Chewbacca Bigfoot.
Eh screw em.
I have a feeling I'm gonna get a call on Wednesday wanting us back but wanting to deal on price. Since we weren't given that option today I'm not real inclined to dicker at all. "Thanks but no Thanks" kills any horse trading I want to do.
What sucks is the massive amount of work it took just to get to this point. I'd like the hours spent in meaningless and clueless department meetings back. It is no wonder to me Movies cost $100 million to make. The waste is stupid.

Thanks man. We'll see. At least I don't have Gallons of Makeup and Dragonskin showing up. Better now than later.
Laffo.

I'm really sorry to hear of this change as well. I hope they come to their senses and bring you back into the movie.

Thanks for the good wishes guys.

Well they've called.

We'll see what happens. I'm gonna let them stew for the weekend. They've blown a week of prep time so far so, the longer this goes the better it is for me. I'm doing nothing on the film as it stands, so I have nothing to lose.
Seems I was right and the Accountant spoke out of turn and soured the deal.
First day of film was today, and by all accounts was rough.
I'll keep you posted. We may work yet kids.

I hope things work out, it was very cool of you to post up here whether it works out or not.

~Edit~

P.S. I'm in Chattanooga, I'm interested, I can be down there on short notice, and would really like to experience being on a movie set once. I'll keep up with the thread. Good luck again.
