Interest Greedo Killer Accurate Grill

Some people call me a *******, but the most say i´m a nice guy. I don´t intend to change that. That´s why i said i´m not one of these recast-shouters. For gods sake - just make them as you want. If you like the design, go and use it. :)

How about I finish them up, and we take this to PM's, I am more than happy to come to any and all agreements that make everyone happy, I was originally not making them part of the kits, and guys asked so I bought several feet of delrin and just wanted to make the guys getting the other parts happy since I was going the other 98% of the journey. I sure don't want anyone upset, and I wasn't even aware lichtbringer. Let me know if you need anything from me, I was just doing the adapters at cost. I am gonna mod them to be different if they are that close now, not a whole lot I can do to a spacer but as long as its not the same. Sorry brother, I honestly just asked Scott what it looked like to do a handful of them for those that wanted one.

ok, I am kinda saddened by all this, I been busting my butt for over a year on projects and this one has been a pretty big undertaking for me to do, I wish we could squash this, I am gonna leave up to you guys to sort out, I was gonna do the adapters after moving through the lion share of the other parts. I don't need the drama over a piece of plastic given the scope of the project on my end. I don't know how to make everyone happy, I wish we could all just say its cool, I don't want credit for the adapters or the amount of research that other people did, I was asked to figure all this out and make it happen. I have invested months and months of time into this and I have a small fortune into the project. If some one else wants to do the adapters fine by me, I can re route that aspect to someone else to deal with. OR we can all get this cleared up here and now like above average intelligence prop guys and everyone can be happy, I am more than willing to come to any agreement, if its cool that's great. thanks

I think I will just change the adapter design some, that should be enough to make everyone happy, since they aren't even done yet this cannot amount to the R word, although I just read some threads I have never seen before until Scott just shared them with me, and Lichtbringer is part of them.. OK, well that settles it then, sorry You didn't get credit for the part, now you have, and we can move the thread back to normal. I honestly didn't know, and I wish you guys would have done this in PM. oh well whatever.

As you are, nonetheless my OK via PM, still seem to hesitate to move along: Don´t worry, i´m completely fine with you using it.

Sure i would have liked to being asked, but that´s not your fault. So i give you here in public all th OK i can give you. No need to change anything.

My initial post was just cause i was messaged with questions if it´s my design and if i gave my OK - which i herewith do.
It seems it lost in translation the intended poke to those who are always in constant fear of loosing a few bucks due to people making similar stuff to theirs. ;) No way it was directed towards you.

I'm ok to move along, I will make some alterations, thanks for the go ahead. Again sorry for the confusion, I am not in fear of losing anything, I just want everyone to get along and no feathers ruffled, to much work to do and stuff to take care of, and the last thing the forum needs or anyone for that matter is any problems. This is for sure a pretty big collaboration, and I appreciate the amount of homework and innovation that others have done prior to me getting involved. that being said, I am late to the party in many ways, and want to contribute as much as I can in anyway that I can. thanks

I was able to pick up a real C-96 Mauser to restore for this build.:)

Took it totally apart... cleaned each part... purchased new springs... stripped old finish/removed rust and re-blued the entire pistol.

Just waiting on the wood grips to arrive! <before/after photos below>

Any updates on how things are progressing with this run?

Äääh .... not completely sure without checking my notices on my old Notebook ...... i believe to remind that the GK wasn´t build on a real one and not with wood grips, Wasn´t it build on a MGC with plastic grips?

You are Correct... but I am using the only MGC I have for my ESB Build... plus this real Mauser was easier to find and cheaper than a MGC. :)

I know right, I started accurzing some denix' , they are not the greatest starting point, but with some tlc they can be pretty decent.

So I will be posting some more pics, I just have to finish cleaning up some stuff, scopes and thingamabobs and dodads... thanks for your patience.
