some ops left, moving along. I will post more soon, thanks

OK guys, I am almost finished with 95% of the parts, I am working out a couple bugs with the Flash hider wing nut, I am dialing it in.. I really appreciate everyone's patience, and I thank you all for it. These little things are a bigger PITA than you can imagine.

I will post some pics soon. thanks

The wingnuts are underway, they are a PITA.

Thankfully I am able to work with someone to LASER WELD the parts together.

Had to build special fixtures to enable to have the parts cleanly joined They will be done soon, also there is another added bonus to the project that I will be announcing soon.

Another RPF member came to me just a couple days ago and really blew my mind with what he had to show me.

Here is a picture of the fine tuned finished Flash hider wingnut.

I really appreciate your patience, there was a last minute part that needed to be made to make sure these would be as close as I could get them.

Cleanup on all the parts is one of the last steps to make sure they are as nice as they can be, again thanks for your patience. Solo

I will post more soon.

I'm late to the party but I'm in !

just catching up on the thread in more detail now :)

Ok took me a while to read all this in between working .. But I have to say I feel quite lucky to get in on this run, parts look fantastic. :)

Hello everyone, I am happy to say that the parts are just about ready to start shipping. I really appreciate everyones patience.

I will be posting final pictures and boxing up everyones orders over the next several days, and contacting you regarding your payments and shipping individually.

I will be as thorough as possible and post supplemental Blue prints calling out assembly.

Thanks again. Solo

Also, just over the last week I was contacted about a batch of Winguts that another RPF member just happened to stumble into as I was doing final operations on the wingnuts I had already been producing. I bought what he had available at that time.

I wanted to offer them to anyone that wanted them in their kits, or sub assemblies.

The wingnuts I made were very time consuming in every way and they had to be Laser welded together from 3 separate parts, and had a lot of cleanup on them.

Being aware that many of you would prefer the actual war surplus parts over the ones I replicated I went ahead and did this.
however the amount of time and resources I have into the parts on my end doesn't allow me to substitute in the found parts for the ones I made, and they will be $15 each wingnut for the original part in addition to the parts in the run.

I am sorry if this is news is bittersweet, that is not my intention whatsoever. I was to far into the wingnuts on my end to even think about scrapping all that work, I know many of you will prefer the original over the part I replicated.. Believe me I wish this would have occurred months ago.

Markus

WHAT?! I fooled Markus into thinking it's real? I guess I did a old job weathering that aluminum *******. They're such a pain to get to look real too. ^_^

Greedo Killer ( this denix was a test bed during the project- the casting had air bubbles in it so I halted accurizing after some blowout and don't realy care about this particular Denix for the prototype, but it showcases the Parts Kit)1.jpg8.jpg7.jpg6.jpg5.jpg4.jpg3.jpg2.jpg0.jpg9.jpg
For your consideration, there are over 2 dozen parts to each full kit
I will be doing a breakdown video describing assembly over the weekend as I do the paperwork and pack up everyone's parts for shipping. Please stay tuned. I will contact you all, I am working on it, thanks . Solo

Wow, that prototype looks spot on! Can't WAIT to get to work on these parts! Thanks for all your hard work on this, looks like it has payed off!

Good morning everyone.
PLEASE INDICATE IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE SOURCED WINGNUT( WAR SURPLUS ) ALSO they are an additional $15 each added to the final balance.
ALSO: PLEASE PUT YOUR ORDER ( FULL KIT, Grill, SCOPE, ETC + wingnut if you are getting the extra wingnut in the NOTEBOX in Paypal, PLEASE PAY as GOODS, and You will get tracking via email via paypal

PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR FORUM NAME ALSO IN THE NOTEBOX

Today I will be sending many of you Requests for final balance with shipping, I will be going through the master list and cross referencing everyones paperwork to the list.

I will be shipping your parts out over the next week, and basing the shipping off of your Paypal address, I will do my best to be as timely as possible, there are a lot of little details as I pack and wrap and box every little fastener.

If you are having a Prop builder building your Blaster and need me to ship it to one of them, please make sure you let me know when I send you a PM, if will affect the final balance based on shipping address.
I will be shipping Flat rate Via USPS, if you want me to ship with a different carrier you must let me know so I can make the arrangements and figure out that cost in your balance.
Many of you have been on many runs, so this is pretty familiar.

I will do my best to get the video up by the end of the day, and I will be including a Callout diagram regarding the fasteners in the kits. It is pretty obvious based on the length and size of the fasteners for the most part.

There will be some fit and finish on the kits, from my experience no 2 Denix are the same and many of you will be using MGC's or perhaps even a real Mauser.
will be as thorough as possible in the video.

I appreciate the interest in the project, I did the best I could with what I had to work with as source materials, it was a pretty long road on this one.
