Ok, maybe it will look better when painted, but as is, looks too much like a model they would us to scan into a computer for cgi or an artist model for animators. He just looks too laid out and stiff. Not a natural posture.

Is it just me?

The detailing and scale looks great though.

I think it's a good standard pose, I plan on attaching him somehow to the shoulder of my starlord costume, so the pose is perfect for that:)

Re: GOTG 2 - Baby Groot - Now Selling

I think something as simple a relaxing the arms would improve the look. Right now he looks like the photo we have of my uncle who is holding his arms just like that because he is waiting for his deodorant to dry.

In fact, might I offer a suggestion? How about seeing if there is an interest in different arms that you could print for the buyer based on their needs? For instance, someone above is going to make a replica bomb. So an arm posed in a way with his finger over the button might be something people might like,

Re: GOTG 2 - Baby Groot - Now Selling

I wanted to keep the pose pretty standard as a bunch of people may not want the "bomb pose" and I didn't want to alienate them... But I will check the arm file and see if I can pose it to the bomb pose. I do like having an option for those who might be building a bomb... Anyone interested in an option of a different set of arms?

I'd be interested in a alternate arm set, depending on what the variant(s) would be. Do agree that the figure feels a bit...empty? Don't mean to offend by any means.

Painting will bring him to life, as shown on the original, but we'll look into an alternative "pose", as I did with my tooth fairy
