Got my MR ROTS vader Helmet today!!

Yeah, I had noticed that as well....I guess a modification added after the fact. It's nice to see that the colour is a deep, rich black. I remember seeing the teaser pix on Jez's website and being worried about the colour....but it looks great. Now I really can't wait to get mine... :cry

Do you have an OT lid that you can compare the size to? It does look the same size tho....

....one more thing...does the inside of the dome have a smooth finish as per the pix on the MR site?

On the nose, is the nose painted chrome or is it an inserted piece of metal liek the tusks?

Granted, it's nice, but I;m surprised the lenses aren't red. This helmet appears to be s smoked grey color. :unsure

Why would the eye lens be red? They were smoked gray on the ROTS helmet.

I guess I'm thinking of the ANH lenses being red and thinking of the scene when Vader is on the table and the helmet is being installed. We see red from the inside looking out of the lenses. Hey, man, I'm no Vader helmet specialist. I said I THOUGHT they should be red, not that they SHOULD be red.

....yeah, I agree....continuity wise, it should also have the widow's peak, smaller chin vent, etc, etc....
