Goonies Map Help

I've searched through quite a few threads and am trying to find the closest hi-res Goonies map on here, or in the pages and pages of paper prop threads. I saw two, one from Bazannojones and the other from another member. Couldn't find the link for the first in hi-Res, the images were only low-res...

Also was wondering about the sizing, if anyone has the correct measurements to print it out at.

Thanks for any help!

SORRY, the links were removed as the original artists were not asked for permission for this artowrk.

So I'm thinking about getting a modified version of this tattoo'd on my back. I'm losing my mind.

Crap.... that would take time to get done.... all the writing, but it would look sweet.

Just wanted to tell you all that DARIO (bazzanoJones) did NOT entirely create that map that he seems to claim....:angry:angry
I made the original and posted for free here on the forum.
He edited the fonts and added other numbers ,diffrent X and other small stuff.

He could at least written something about using another persons work.

Anything look familier?

Why must there always be a problem? lol

Having some trouble here... How did everyone get this printed, what size, and what's the correct type of paper?

No place locally can print on parchment paper, and the ones that do are at 8.5x11

Help!

I'm thinking about buying a new printer here for work that can print 11" wide and looks like it can print on parchment paper. I'll let you guys know what I find out.

And for the tat....yeah...it'll hurt like hell. The biggest thing is figuring out if I can incorporate the rest of my back stuff into it and have it make sense.

yeah, go on ebay and type in large format printers. You can get used ones around 100.00. Then you can print 11" wide by however long you need.

They say at Office Depot I could use a piece of watercolor paper at 11x17 and run it through their printer. But they say the texture might mess with the printing and make gaps because of something with the toner.

Guess I might experiment with some paper I have...

Get a "Hot press" watercolor paper. Cold press is the textured kind, but hot press is smooth. But don't go with a 140 lb paper, as these maps are meant to fold, and that is so thick, you can fold it but it tends to rip into layers, or sort of crack. Stick with 90 lbs or under.

Hmmm...tested some coffee staining yesterday and it didn't darken the paper much. Maybe I need some stronger coffee!

Just remember, if you use inkjet, you should spray fix the ink first before using anything liquid. The ink will bleed and blur.

I find when using watercolor paper, you can just use some watercolors.... burnt umber, raw sienna, burnt sienna, and ultramarine blue to darken the burnt sienna. You can go in layers until you get the darkness you desire. Also, after it dries, you can put some more on and use a hair dryer to quickly dry it, causeing water stain marks.

Sometimes the spray fix could block the watercolors from absorbing in the paper, so you can always do your coloring of the paper, then have the final print done over the aged paper.
