Goodbye, goodfella. Henry Hill dead at 69.

Former mobster Henry Hill, whose memoir, Wiseguy, was the basis of the film, Goodfellas, has gone to the big jailhouse in the sky at only 69. No loss.

I assmume most people have seen Goodfellas (if not, what's wrong with you?) but if you've never read Wiseguy, it's a blast.

The Luftansa heist is still one of the biggest cash grabs in history.
 
I saw him on the show Locked Up Abroad. [which is weird because he's a US citizen and was locked up in the US]

He was a personable fellow anyway. He said when he was in rehab, on Oscar night Scorsese came by in a limo to shake his hand.
