Good tools for precise cutting of plastics?

What do you guys use to get precise cuts on plastic? Specifically plastic that is 1mm or more thick.

I'm not talking like a rotary tool or exacto blade. I'm talking about when you've got to get way down in the nooks and crannies of pieces and do precise specific cuts. AND it is thick plastic.

I need something like a vibro-exacto blade, or an exacto blade that heats up or something like that. Something for doing small cuts into plastic for those instances where you can't just score and snap. Tiny specific cuts where the edges don't get all melted or ripped up.

Do they make something like that?

I am currently working on converting a Hasbro Snowspeeder and I am starting on the cockpit. Top picture is what I've got and bottom pic is what I am attempting to emulate. I'm not trying to get exactly like the bottom picture, but I do not like the angle of the seats on mine. They are too slanted.

This next pic is kind of showing what I want to do. The red lines represent where I wish to cut. Then I'm hoping to bend the seats inward to form more of a smaller angle, with maybe a little bit of a curve to them. I can't quite figure out how to get in there and make these cuts. It's pretty thick plastic. A rotary tool won't really reach into where I need to cut and an exacto blade just won't cut it.

Any suggestions?
