Good Clear Coat for Copper?

What's a good brand of clear coat? I want to clear coat a copper circuit board for a Luke ROTJ saber. I had originally puchased some relatively cheap generic matte clear coat and noticed that after a couple days is started to show small cracks and reflect light differently in a few spots.
