well not really - it was bought off Stephen Dymszo who is well known to have a lineage mold.

I then finished it with gold leaf and the ribbon (plus a few extra bits)

I think the ribbon was fixed with three screws.....hence the three holes on the top of the medal !!!

Yes - there are three screws in there and a bar which holds all the fabric close to the base. The screws go through the brass bar, which then clamps the ribbon down and then they screw into the medal.

I've heard some not so good things about Stephen Dymszo, mainly on this forum. I'm not well versed in it though and don't have a dog in this fight, just trying to figure things out about how legit his claims are. Anyone have advice?

Yes I know it isn't great - but I don't think there are any doubts to the lineage claim. He was selling them on 'Props of the Original Trilogy' Facebook group.

I believe it is a second generation casting.
