Gluing styrene to wood?

I'm about finished with my Finemolds X-Wing and am making a base for it that will look like part of a Star Destroyer. It's supposed to be an X-Wing skimming the top of the ISD making a torpedo run at the bridge viewport. Anyway I have a small wood plaque that I want to use, but I don't know if styrene will glue to wood well. Or maybe rather if superglue would work. Anyone know?

Super glue will work. if you really want to use "model glue", I have used a thin coat of the type that comes in a tube. Spear it on the wood really thin, and let it soak in and dry. Maybe twice. It will form a plastic like skin over the wood that regular model glue (tube or liquid) will stick to.
