Glues suggestions!

Hi folks!
I'm new here and am looking for an advice
I am looking for an alternative to Barge cement glue...It is not available where I live and ordering it online will be too expensive due to shipping...Suggestions?

I dunno about Barge cement but epoxies are always good and can be found anywhere. For CA glues, I always go for Zap-A-Gap; best I've ever used for anything. Although, there is a rubberized cement/CA glue I've been looking into that's promising.

I don't knowfof anything that really compares to barge. What are you trying to glue?

If they're the fatigue mats, you might not want to use Barge anyway. It eats right through certain types of foam. It ate the floor mats I tried it on.

I like E6000. I have not tried it on foam; however, it is holding my wife's sandals together. http://www.eclecticproducts.com/e6000_retail.htm It may be similar to Shoe Goo.

Is barge cement sorta in the Contact Cement category of glues?

I think it is considered Epoxy glue, but I am not sure :\

I've used DAP contact cement (the kind in the red bottle) and it works just like Barge. It's probably not quite as strong for some things but I've used both when gluing EVA foam together and both worked equally great for gluing foam. Also, Walmart and Home Depot carry the DAP stuff so it's pretty easy to find. Good luck!
