Here are some pix of my '79 Alien as depicted by Giger. I have the clear dome but need to trim and paint it still. Still working on the tongue.

Wow, that sure looks great and Gigery, will that be wearable or just for display?
I always liked this one the most, loving the way it looks like they evolved to camouflage inside futuristic spacecrafts and whatnot.

Thanks guys, I had to make the jaw articulate being the dentist that I am.....LOL. That makes it look alot better in my opinion. It won't be wearable, but it will have a moveable tongue and jaw.

NO WAY!!! That's just awesome as hell. You should think about using bare metal foil on the teeth to really get that chrome look. I think that would really make it pop. :thumbsup

I used metal foil on my Tusken Raider mask too, and it looks great, way better than paint.

That is exactly what I'm planning.
Looks great! I'm slowly working on mine, but I'm still tring to figure out how to fit the clear top on. I was thinking of building up a lip on the back of the head, so it flows into the head better. I also noticed you changed the teeth!

Yes, the teeth that came with it were not the same as the screen teeth, so I did some dental work on them. I haven't trimmed the lip from the dome just yet, but plan on doing that this week. Then on to painting and attaching the dome. I only wish the dome were more accurate. It has the typical dip you see just behind the skull that follows the curvature of the head/spines like on all the toy versions..... but was not seen on the original. I have contemplated heating the dome and trying to push that dip out, but I am worried I might damage the dome beyond repair.

where did you get this head ? I love it , I think to update my unfinished xeno costume with a another head like you have .
