Well, if that face could be cut out of styrene instead of MDF, that could be a good idea. Or super thin MDF .. I'm not sure though about that. Personnaly, I don't mind at all the squared face since it's for a HIC!

I'm still looking foward to this by the way.

Did you take a decision on the design yet? Are you sticking with your original pattern?

I might be able to have yours manufactured over there, so it might work out to basically the same amount. The HiC boxes I sell in Europe currently are manufactured in the UK.

Still interested in a carbonite style base. Ideally, the thinner, the better as my HIC is about 3-3/4" from the floor ,, Yeah, low ceiling basement but I'm sure I'm not the only one?

There didn't seem to be too much interest. I can make them if we get a short run together. I sold the prototype along with the most recent HiC commission build.

currently working on a moveable stand so it can free stand against any wall. Will design it with a 4.6 inch clearance so your stand can slip right in
