Gears of War: Gnasher shotgun

Hi! It's been a while since I posted, but I'm not exactly on a lot.
Anyway! My latest thing I'm excited about working on is this shotgun from the Gears of War series. I haven't finished the thing yet, but I'll try to keep this thread as updated as possible.

I started out with drawing the outling on photoshop and printing it out in my desired size (as I always do).

The first thing I made was the box-like part of the gun (I have no idea what the name for it may be) and the barrels. Nothing really exciting happened here; it's pretty easy to make.

Then I made some extra parts of the gun which include the part which spits out the shells (for lack of a better name) and some thingy that will be glued behind it (alright, I need to search up the names for it, but I'm kinda lazy).

Next up I put all the pieces together and filled any nooks and crannies that needed filling. I also added some more details to it.

For the handle, I made 3 cross cuts for editing and assembling later, and some other parts.

Just some small parts/details.

GrimPaladin !!! Awesome work. 3D Printing is the wave of the future - but I to am languishing in the surf - I can make 3D models - I can't print them myself - and the cost of producing a 3D printed model is not always the right choice. You have MAD SKILLS !!! Your project is rock solid - highly detailed - and MEAN looking. Nothing beats old school skills. Those that want to jump ahead to the next generation 3D modeling - may miss out on the pleasure of getting your hands dirty on the work bench. You really should post more often and show off your work. I would like to see your other projects - obviously this is not your first trip to the work bench. Thanks for the post !

Keep updating the build pics -

Wow, I…. don't even know how to respond to that haha thanks for the compliment mate! I'm aware of 3D modeling being the future and all, but I don't exactly have the necessary digital skills to create something. Though a buddy of mine is very good at it and has a 3D printer, so whenever I need something printed I just commission something, but it would be something I can't make myself. All in all, I just enjoy making things by hand using tools. Oh, and this is my third attempt at anything serious, so I'm actually quite new to prop making haha. I'll try to update this as frequently as possible. As of now, I have some other project going on, but I'll post those as well when they're finished.
