Galactica Officer Blue Uniform Belt?

Greetings.

I'm currently working on putting together a Galactica Dress Uniform (The Blue Officers uniform).
I am having a problem identifying the belt and buckle. The belt appears to be a standard blue web belt, but the buckle eludes me.

Help appreciated to get this thing ready by DragonCon.

Your talking about this type of uniform, right.

The one on the left appears metal, while the ones on the right look like plastic, either way you could probably use a buckle like this and just paint it if your wanting it to appear to be metal.

They're all painted plastic. Some just have more paint on them than others, as it wears off from use.

Back from the dead... Were those belts 1" or maybe 1.5" width nylon webbing?

1-1/2" blue webbing, and Antique Gold Rub n Buff was used to add a metallic look to the buckles.

Paint chips off... but the Rub n Buff wears off more gradually and naturally...and looks more legitimately metallic. A little goes a long way... put it on sparingly and rub it in good to get a metallic gleam.
