Galactica: 1980 motorcycle

I've seen those photos before. Zero feedback? Wonder if it's bogus...

I've seen similar photos, but not those exact ones. I wondered if it was bogus too. You would think the seller would put more info in the description if he wanted the bike to sell, no matter what the price.

This clown doesn't even give a single detail about the bike. In about 4 seconds, I came up with about 40 things I'd ned to know about it before I would even consider the purchase.

Let's see, question #1: DOES IT DRIVE?!

Trust NO seller with zero feedback for that kind of bid. He'd do better going through a clearing house like Christies or PIH, even with thier commision.

Actually, I believe it is real, just with crummy photos and bad grammar from someone who hasn't used e-bay before.

And likely it won't run, won't be easy to restore, and next to impossible to drive safely.

I think it is genuine
Local pick up only - so at least you can check it out before handing over the cash (in a large briefcase)

Not that it makes a difference (for that starting bid anyway :lol), but it's still a live auction posting... :unsure

On an aside, how many seasons did G80 run? Look closely at the side details of the auction one and the finished one at the bottom of the page below...

There are definite differences between the engine nacelle, rear fins, handlebar cutouts, etc., but you can't "save as" photos to compare the two side by side...

I dont know guys, at $174,999 its a steal. But at $175,000 its just outside my price range. :lol

Be cool to just send an email and say " I want to come take a look before bidding" If your close by would not be a bad idea. And if your somone with a lot of left over cash at the end of th month....well then what the hell :love:lol

When you're asking that kind of money, for goodness sake, TAKE NEW PICTURES!!

10 years in a garage the "hole" time, those photos don't represent the item very well I'm betting.

If you have Internet Explorer 6 or higher you can hover your cursor over the picture and a hidden mini bar will come up so you can save the file.

You could also click and drag the picture from the website to your desktop and it will save your file.

If that doesn'tr work you could always use the print screen button to grab the frame and just cut the picture out using paint or something.

And if you really wanted to, you could search the temporary internet files folder for the files and retrieve them from there.

Disabled right click is not going to stop me! :D
