Gadgets disguised as pens

I have replicas of a communicator pen from The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and Gary Seven's servo pen from Star Trek. The only other movie prop that I can think of that was disguised as a pen was the neuralyzer from Men in Black. What other TV and movie gadgets and props were disguised as pens?

I was pretty tired when I logged into the forum and I saw the thread title as something completely different. :lol

there are bound to be james bond pens im sure

That's right. There's the explosive pen from "GoldenEye." I remember a long time ago, Hollywood.com, back in the 1990s, had downloadable multimedia simulators, where you had an interactive environment based on the movie it was about. For example, they had one for "Hackers" that I used to play a lot, and they always came with a "game" where you had to solve a problem that is movie related. For "Hackers", you had to crack a message hang-man style by entering in binary coding for certain letters to show up (the message turns out to be "When genius is outlawed, only outlaws will have genius." And I remember the Goldeneye one and the game for it, where you had to assemble the explosive pen and detonate it. It certainly was a challenge.

Its a bit of a stretch, but the pen they used in ALIEN to check the acid blood might be a fun prop to replicate.

Those were widely available back then. If I had to guess, it was either a mechanical pencil, or one of those "erasable" pens (the kind with pseudo weak ink, and a hard eraser that tore through the paper as well as erasing the ink). Either would have looked pretty futuristic in 1979.

Might still be able to come across one these days, or a close facsimile.

I love pens that do other things, then just right. I would love to have a display full of them.

Didn't the man form uncle have a radio pen or something like that.

In one of the later seasons of MacGyver, Mac, and Murdoc teem up, and Murdoc had a gass filled pen, that nocked some guy out. (plus, I think Mac turned a pen into a "Zip gun" one time.)

There is the Sonic pen from doctor who.

In the movie "Toy solders" One of the terrorists, used a pen from the headmasters desk, that telescoped out. (it was mint to be used as a pointer in the real word, but the terrorist, used it to beat one of the kids.) I have one of those pens. I could it at a yard sale. :)

In the real world I have seen Pens with knifes in them, torches/lighters, laser pointers, Clocks. Radios, microscopes, screw drivers, blow guns. etc. (I have a number of these items. :) )

In "Max Headroom" they had credit tubes that looked like pens, I always liked that better than a card. I've never gotten a good look at it, but the communicators in "Rocky Jones, Space Ranger" were pen-like.

The one from the first Mission Impossible movie came straight to mind.

It's when the girl sits next to the guy in the lunch room and used the pen to shoot some kind of liquid into his drink when he isn't looking. So it's essentially a syringe disguised as a pen. It then makes him throw up constantly so Ethan Hunt has the time to swoop past all of the lasers in that room. Been a while since I've watched it.

You mean a syringe disguised as a pen. If it was a pen disguised as a syringe, I think the guy next to her would ask where she bought the novelty pen from.

Haha yes, I was extremely tired when I wrote that. Thanks for pointing it out, gonna go edit the post now.
